Since there are many road accidents occur every day in Cambodia, the government had set a few more rules and penalties. Recently, the government has just set a punishment for car drivers who does not use seat belt, it's 5, 000R fine. And guess what? I was one among them. How bad it was. However, I am happy with this new rule. Respect the road!

Sunday night: a hip-hop group "BDB" come to perform their dance. According to the emcee, BDB is an organization, but I don't know what its full name is.

Guess! Where did I go yesterday afternoon? Hmm...Do you believe that I went to a famous casino, Naga World, in Phnom Penh? I went there not because I wanted to be rich; I just went to join a workshop about Malaysia Health Care. If I wanted to play the games over there, I guess I should have sold my little car to get some money, or maybe it wasn’t enough either. Lolzzz... By the way, Naga World is not as big as Genting Mountain resort, yet it’s quite comfortable and beautiful. Let’s see some photos I had taken in this place.

I feel very free and relaxed after fighting with my exam at both schools. Therefore, I have some time to enjoy myself. Since I don’t have much work to do for medical school, I had spent several days reading an over-five-hundred-page English novel, ‘Twilight’ which I just got from my friend. I can tell it’s the 1st time I had read such a thick book like this, because, as usual, I choose and read the book with only between 150 and 200 pages. I can’t jump up to more than this since I’m kinda lazy, plus, my eyes are not so good. Heh…heh…But this time, it’s different. I couldn’t put the book down until the last page. It’s awesome. I really like the way the author described and quoted. Thank so much Da for lending me this worthful novel. I have learned a lot.

Well, what do you guys feel when the one who you are always waiting for came back after living faraway for years? To me, I'm very exited, and happy. Time works so slow, but now 8 years that I had been waiting for him have gone. I was so glad when I saw him. He is not someone special nor my sweetheart (cos I haven't find yet) but my cousin and my older brother as well. I guess you guys will wonder why I was so happy like this. When I was taking a small snap, I got a message: “Hi my dear. I flew all the way here to see you. I just arrived at noon. You are invited to join my very first gathering on my first day in Cambodia......and so on.” from 012 41 71 22...
I asked myself whether I was dreaming or not. After reading for 2 or 3 times, I decided to call the one who sms me to make sure I was right. When I heard her voice, oh my god! It was exactly Da. I was very surprised but happy since she arrived in Cambodia very early. She had told me that she will visit Cambodia for the 2nd time in June 2009, but now it was just the end of 2008. It meant that she could not wait till that day. lolzzz....

Anyhow, during her twenty-day visit to her homeland, I think that it was a great time for our friends because we could hang out and do a lot of happy things together. This rarely happens for we are very busy with our studies. Nonetheless, when she came, we were pleased to stay with her. This twenty-day was extremely short for our meeting, yet it was meaningful and unforgettable...

She often says, time does fly, I do agree. Twenty days are over. Today is the end of her journey. I can tell I’m very upset for her departure, even though I had ever seen her took off for twice. Vacation!...

Well, actually I just came back from one place where always makes everybody feel fresh, free and happy. It is our beautiful sea, Kampong Som. I haven’t been there for three years, and the reason going there because I really miss the view there. Sure, guys! I was very very happy when I arrived; I could hear the sea’s sound. The seafood still tastes good for me and my family.
Besides this, I tried to get up in the early morning to see sunrise, but the weather was not so good, it rains almost every morning, so it was hard for me to go out. Hee...Hee... But luckily, I still could take some pictures of the sky and the sea, they were awesome.
When I stood on the beach in the morning, seeing the sea followed by plenty of waves and a few small boats...... hmm... it is very romantic... All my sadness runs away. So, you guys should go there too.
Anyways, I stayed there for two nights in two different hotels, and surprisingly, I got the same room numbers, they were 201. And when we came back to PP, my parents stayed in a hotel, their room number was 402, and so if we divided by 2, we would get number 201 again. Finally I got one idea. I think I should play lottery heuy maybe I’ll win. Lolzzz

Well... I think today is the most special day for everyone in the world, and there are many good events happen also.

While I was reviewing my lesson, my phone rang: "Leng, I passed the interview, and I'm leaving for the US this Thursday...” I was very happy when I heard this good new, and it was someone who is very close to me, my best friend, Da. However, I started to feel that I had lost one important thing in my life. I was very upset, and I'm very lonely even now.

This morning, some of our friends went to IFL to meet her before she took off. There, we could play whatever we wanted. I was very happy that day because I could see her smile, her happiness.

The last day, the sad day...At airport, there were too many people waiting for their relatives or their friends' coming. But there, I was not waiting for some one's arrival. I went there for someone's departure. I don't know how to describe my feeling that day. I just knew that I was very upset. I regretted that I had a lot of words to tell her but I could not besides give her a hug for the last minute, because the time was too short...

I have been absent in my blog for a while because I was very busy with my exam. I had spent 15 days to finish my semester-two exam with 4 subjects. It was the hard time for me, I had a big pile of lesson paper to enjoy. I could not sleep well, and I didn't have enough time for my favorite activity, watching TV. Hee...Hee... Oh, I still have one more exam to go. However, I want to say something... Good bye school work and Hello Vacation!!! Hope this will be the great vacation for me in this year.

Hmm... Before the last exam day, I went to my hometown to visit my family because I miss them so much. And you know what guys? I had found something funny and made me remember when I was in grade 11. I found a piece of paper. My friends and I always wrote some kind of food on a piece of paper and then we voted . We liked to do like this for our party at the end of each year. We just celebrated it with a small group of 8 people.We were very happy when we were in high school. I had a lot of good time with my old friends, and I just hope that in one day, we can make it again like when we were together. I miss all of you so much... Ok, I will show you this memorable paper, and please don't mind me cos I just want to recall and keep this happy memory in my heart forever...

Her Sadness

At 1h13mn in the early morning of Wednesday 2nd, I got a phone call, and I was told that my uncle (one of my best friends' dad) just passed away 13mn ago. I can tell that I was very upset when I heard this bad new, and my tear started to fall down. I really regretted that I couldn’t stay near him at his last minute. I’m not his real niece; however, I feel very close to him. And there is one person that I and other friends worry about. It’s my friend. She loves her father so much, and this makes her become too much sad, alone, and taciturn. I, as her friend, don’t know how to help her. All of us try to comfort her, encourage her, but we still can’t help her. We pity her so much because she cries every time. She eats and drinks less, and she doesn’t care about her health. She sits in front of her father’s dead body with plenty of sorrow everyday. Hmmm...How could I help her? I can't stand seeing her in this situation and I think that I’m not her real best friend because I can’t share her sadness. Anyway I just hope she will return into her normal mood, and everything will be fine for her soon...

Sang Sar resort

During my reading session on Monday evening, my teacher had asked us whether we known something about two islands named Koh Oun and Koh Bong. Well, the answer was "No" coz most of us have never heard about those islands.
Recently, an Australian property developer Brocon has been given the green light to begin work on a $35-million luxury resort (Sang Sar Resort) on two islands off Sihanoukville.
In July 2007, the government granted Brocon a conditional lease on Koh Oun and Koh Bong, which are 30 kilometers off the coast. There will be included 25 self-contained suites, three privately owned villas, wine cellar, gym, yoga retreat and so on, will meet rigorous natural standards. Brocon expects Sang Sar resort to welcome its first visitors in early 2010.
This will be the good news for all the couples who plan to get married. But…I think you should wait till 2010, and enjoy your honeymoon on this wonderful resort. It must be very interesting. Anyway, if some of you are still single, why don’t take a trip and make an adventure on Koh Oun and Koh Bong with me? Everything is unforeseeable, so maybe we can find our princes or princesses there, do you think so? Lolzzz…

Friday 13th phobia

Today is Friday 13th. I heard that it is the bad day in some countries. ok, I have extracted some parts of this from a mag to share all of you. Triskaidekaphobia (tris= three, kai=and, dek=ten) is a fear of the number 13. The idea is that the number 13 is unlucky is a superstition. Interestingly, even the 21st century, when most people do not regard themselves superstitious, the belief is largely influential in many parts of the world. Some countries, there is no gate 13 in the airport. Hotels do not have a 13th floor, and there is no hotel room 13. Many people avoid having 13 guests at a dinner table. In many cultures, people would not get married on any day of the week which falls in the 13th, especially Friday 13th.
In other hand, businesses have lost million of dollars because of cancelled appointments or absenteeism on Friday 13th due to Triskaidekaphobia. Despite the widespread practice, what is absolutely fascinating is that there is no single solid explanation about this phenomenon. 13 maybe considered a bad number simply because when a group of 13 objects of people is divided into 2, 3, 4 or 6 equal groups, there is always one leftover.
There is, however, very little reality in the belief that 13 is an unlucky number. You may be able to impress your friends with the world Friday 13th phobia.
Anyway, since one of my teachers told me about this, I started to find out that I don't like this number also. Sometimes, I'm very afraid of this number. lolzzz... And what all you guys think?

My Five-day holiday

From Wednesday to Sunday last week I had a small vacation with my family, including my two aunts. The 1st day of our holiday, we went to Vietnam by bus. We spent a whole morning to reach there, and we arrived there around 1h30 in the afternoon. We stayed in a hotel, and we hired an interpreter. The next day morning, we went to hospital to check up our health. There were too many people, and we finished all the stuffs at 11h. In the afternoon, we went to the zoo for taking some pictures and seeing what is new. I was so regretted coz I didn’t have much time to stay there, and on Friday morning we backed to Phnom Penh. I can tell you that I prefer PP city to Vietnam city. I think the life in our hometown is better than others, think so? But there was one thing I admired, the food. The food there was delicious for me, and it was cheaper than that of our country. Ok, let’s continue. After we arrived in PP, my dad decided to go to Lbak Khorn waterfalls in Laos on Saturday. I was very happy even I was tired. We left for there since 4h in the morning by taxi, and arrived at 12h in the afternoon. We stayed in a hotel in Stoeng Treng province, we just went to see the waterfalls for a few hours. The view there was great, I took some pictures and I’m going to show you some of them after I finish this writing. Anyway, we returned back to PP the next day. We drove across Krorjes province, and we went to Orn-loung Phsort to see porpoises, but I was not lucky to see them. Hee…Hee…
Next, when we arrived in Kampong Cham province, we stopped to buy some khmer sweet and dedicious fruit with no chemical substance such as: durants, rambutans… U know what? I had stolen a little cute durant from the seller cos it looked lovely. Lolzzzz. We arrived in PP safely at 3h, and this is the end of my holiday.
P.S. During this several days, I could know some new provinces, and especially, I could drove across 3 long bridges in Cambodia in a day, Spean Jroy Jangva, Spean Kizuna, and Spean Sekong. This is my best experience of the year.

I have bought a Chinese dvd movie. I thought that it must be a nice film, cos there was my favorite singer, Jay Chou. Unluckily, I couldn't play it. I tried all my best to view it, but it still didn't work. Poor me!
But everything was such a magic...Oh, my god! Finally, I could play it on my lap. Hee...Hee... It was a nice film for me, including my favorite sport: Basketball. And it's also funny. Ok, the title of this movie is Kung Fu Dunk, and I can tell that I really like Kung Fu. I wish I could know and practice it someday. You know why? Hmm... It's easy for me to run when you want to fight me. lolzzz...

Do you know anything about sky? Hmm...Sky is an amazing and a wonderful part of the nature. And have all you guys spent more than 15 minutes sitting and looking at the sky? Maybe some will say it's a stupid question, and it also wastes their time. However, you'll recognize something strange when you pay attention to it. Ok, let me show you some pictures of the sky I took by myself.

P.S. Since I moved to PP, I have seen this halo for twice, in 2006 and in 2007. I have noticed that it always happens almost the same months. So, hope that this year it will exist again.

Bingo Day

Yesterday evening, my vocabulary teacher made a small game for us, called Bingo. I think it is such an out-of-date game, but I really enjoyed it. Not many students went to class, cos it rained heavily. All of us had to choose 10 words among 80 words on the white board. There were 3 winners, but unluckily I wasn't one among them. Lolzzz... Surprisingly, 5 students, including me, waited for one word "Essential". Guess, what would be happen if the teacher called this word? Who could be the winner?
